Book Report Rubric
4 – The presentation of their book was spoken from memory and not read. It was delivered in a loud enough voice for all to hear and was highly engaging to the audience. We could understand what the book was mostly about and how the project tied in with the book. The project was creative and completed almost entirely by the student.
3 – The presentation of the project was clear, but the student read mostly from their paper. Most of the time we could hear him/her. We understood the important points of the book and could see how the project tied in with it. The project was creative, but it was evident an adult helped .
2 – The presentation was not very clear. We had a hard time hearing them when they presented. Their explanation of the book wasn’t very clear, so it was harder to see how the project fit in with the book. They read from their paper the whole time. The project lacked creativity.
1- The explanation of their book was vague, and we couldn’t hear what they were saying. The audience could not figure out how the project fit the book. The project looked as if very little effort and creativity were put into it.
